# OVER Visual Positioning System (VPS)

OVER Visual Positioning System (VPS) delivers centimeter-level positioning accuracy worldwide, both indoors and outdoors. Devices equipped with a camera—such as robots, smart glasses, and smartphones—can determine their precise position and orientation in 3D space with exceptional accuracy and minimal latency.

⚙️ How It Works

The OVER VPS system leverages advanced AI algorithms to analyze and understand where an image is taken in 3D space. By sending a single photogram (an image from its camera) to the OVER VPS API, any compatible device can instantly establish its exact position and bearing. This process allows for real-time, high-precision localization in any environment mapped by OVER.
