# How to create an OVER account

After downloading the app, select the Profile section at the bottom right corner.

You then have two choices:

The first is the 'off-chain' option (as in, not on the blockchain) that allows you to create an account using your Facebook, Google, WeChat, or Apple account, or by simply clicking on the 'register' button and providing a username, email, and password.

2. The second is the 'on-chain' option, whereby you connect using your MetaMask digital wallet. You'll need to have the MetaMask app on your device. When you connect, the MetaMask app will be opened, you'll sign in and then be redirected back to the OVER app to start using it.

Click on 'Sign In' in the top right hand corner of the window.

You then have the same off-chain and on-chain options to create an account, as outlined above for the app.
