# What are OVR managed tokens?

Within the OVER ecosystem, "Managed OVR Tokens" were originally acquired through participation in the now-concluded Treasure Hunt game or via credit card purchases made in collaboration with our former partner, Indacoin. 

These tokens are centrally managed by the OVER platform but can be converted into "Decentralized OVR Tokens" using the OVR Token Swapper. 

To ensure a smooth transition, there are initial limits on the number of OVR Managed Tokens that each account can swap each month, with a maximum of 100 OVR Managed tokens allowed for swapping per month per account.
