In order to buy an OVRLand from the primary market you will need a MetaMask wallet and OVR Tokens. Alternatively, you can buy OVR tokens using a credit card allowing you not to deal with a wallet.

It is possible to buy OVRLand on the primary market using OVR tokens from three different blockchains: Ethereum, Polygon or Binance Chain. With any of these options, the OVRLand NFT will be minted on Polygon.

There are two main options to buy an OVRLand on the primary market, with an auction, and with a direct purchase (Buy Now):

OVRLand auction: OVRLand has a base price that goes from 10$ to 100$ depending on how many OVRLand have already been purchased in your target area. Once you start the auction, there will be a window of 24 hours where other buyers will be able to outbid you, offering a minimum price increase of 2x. After each re-launch, the 24-hour timer will restart with the same 2x price increase covenant. 24 hours after the last bet, the auction will close, and the OVRLand will be assigned to the higher bidder.

Direct buy: If you want to acquire your OVRLand immediately and without incurring the risk of a bidding war, you can switch to the BUY NOW modality. You'll pay 2x the base price for your target OVRLand, but the assignment will be immediate, and you'll not be involved in bidding wars.

To be able to start an auction, the first thing you need to do before anything else is to increase the allowance. Head to your OVER profile and click on the increase for the desired blockchain.

For example, if you have OVR Tokens on the Polygon Blockchain, click on Increase for the Polygon Blockchain.

Then set the maximum amount of OVR tokens that you plan on spending on OVRLands. Basically, since it is an auction system, it will allow the smart contract to debit your wallet if you win the auction.

Once done, you'll be able to buy OVRLand both from the OVER Marketplace and the OVER App.

Let's explore the process from the Marketplace. Head over to marketplace.ovr.ai -> OVRLands -> Primary Market

Select the OVRLand that you wish to buy (you can also buy multiple ones at the same time using the multiple land selection).

Then click on start an auction

You will then see the below window popping up. Make sure to select the right currency! Please note that you can also skip the auction if you are ready to buy the land for double of its value. To do so, simply tick the bottom box.

If you want to skip the auction, flag the 'Buy NOW' toggle.

Click on confirm!
