💡How to create an OVER MAP
OVER Map creation is a permissionless activity, that is performed by the OVER community. Anyone can map any location in the world, all that is needed is a Smartphone (no Lidar required) with the OVER App installed to take pictures of a location.
Here is how to create one
Navigate to the specific area you wish to map.
Set the floor height and carefully adjust your position and orientation to achieve maximum accuracy.
Use the slider to refine the orientation and slide the map to relocate if needed.
Rotate the placeholder until it precisely aligns with your current position, then confirm the adjustments. If your position and orientation are accurate you can skip this step.
Once mapping starts, move slowly and deliberately within your chosen OVRLand area.
