# OVRLand dimensions

The base dimension of an OVRLand has been set to 300sqm for three main reasons:

<figure><img src="/files/ji3VZnqQ7v7jFFndkR4r" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. Considering indoor and outdoor GPS localization of assets, such an area is large enough to ensure that the asset is displayed in the correct OVRLand
2. The dimension naturally limits the file size of digital assets placed on an OVRLand for the creation of AR experiences. This allows for an optimal user experience in terms of download times
3. 300 sqm is an area that can be mapped in 3D with the OVER Mapper tool in a reasonable amount of time (≈ 3-5 mins) and generate an OVER Map of a manageable file size
